That doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy yourself – see it as a chance to take some time out and appreciate the small but important things in life. And with that in mind, here are our top 5 suggestions of what to do on such a day.

1. Gin & Tonic Tasting
Enjoy a Gin & Tonic in the Gin library, wehere you can take part in one of our gin tasting courses. The library has a display of almost 400 gins, including carefully selected examples from here in the Azores and Portugal. Best of all, bring a craft gin we don’t have and you can enjoy the tasting for free! More details here..

6. (Bonus!) Dog Snuggling
As a bonus, we left the best for last.  We have 5 rescue dogs (originally from Hong Kong) and 1 from here in the Azores, all who love to snuggle (almost as much as they like treats.)  If it’s raining and the other guests don’t mind then we can bring the dogs over to say hi and relax in the downstairs lounge.
